In April 2009, Dr. Paul Whittington purchased the building and assets of Prejean Veterinary Clinic and instituted Whittington Veterinary Clinic He hired his longtime friend and associate Dr. Casi Boudreaux to join him in the practice. Together, Dr. Casi and Dr. Paul strive to provide Vermilion and surrounding parishes with top-notch veterinary care from small breed to large breed (deer and cattle vet), with communication and compassion being the center that differentiates them from any other veterinary clinic.

I recently posted a review that was less than stellar regarding an emergency situation. Dr Paul Whittington called me personally to rectify a communication problem. We are grateful for his compassion for our pets and family He has checked up on them in between visits and truly cares for our fur family. I'm low income and have issues sometimes with payments up front but Whittington has worked with me without issue so far and the owner is an amazing guy! I've always made sure that my cats have had enough food and try to keep the litter box clean but that isn't always enough and I'm starting to find that out and Whittington has been amazing and is helping me work through the difficulties!
Great facility careful and considerate staff that puts your animals need first they also check with you before they add any thing to your bill so it won't be expensive surprise at the end of the visit so you know if you can afford it and I love that i highly recommend this veterinary clinic
Well all I can say is that Whittington Veterinary Clinic is the BEST. We have been seeing them for all of our furbabies needs since the beginning...years and I wouldn't want it any other way. Last Thursday evening about 30 minutes before closing. I let out my Rosie, our frenchie, to potty outside. She seen some neighbors furbabies outside as well.
