My horse colicked on Saturday. I called the office and was told no one could assist that they had appts (I am 5 minutes away). I understood. I reached a friend with the medication to assist, but she had only one dose. Warning!!!!! I took my daughters dog to Elk Valley Veterinary Hospital on Monday to get fixed and was quoted a price of 127.19 for the spay. When I dropped her off I was asked if I wanted several test run on her to check for things I told them no we just need a spay. When I returned to pick up Bailey I was told my total was 194.35 because she was in heat. Called ahead of time to confirm they performed the procedure I needed done & was assured they do. Drove all the way up there to find out they do not. Huge loss of valuable time needed since we were dealing with something extremely time sensitive. Staff tried to appear knowledgeable on the subject but clearly wasn’t.

Took my dog to them a couple years back They gave him to much of the sleepy meds he died from it Do not take your loved dogs there

Received a card today sent from elk valley the other day we had to put down one of are babies weasel. Thank you so much for the condolence card this is one reason the rose family has dealt with elk valley and valley west for 30 yrs

Took our male cat into to get neutered a week ago. Three days later he had licked and scratched a hole in between his shoulder blades. Took him back in to have it looked at, thinking it could be a reaction at the injection site, but no one seemed to know what happened. Instead they tried to make us feel like it was something we'd done wrong and that the cat is stressed.
