We have been going to Redbank Veterinary Hospital for decades. We have adopted pets from them and said goodbye to pets there. The doctors and staff have always been like family. The practice was recently sold. It's now apparently corporately owned. Our cat, who we adopted from Redbank 18 years ago, is nearing the end of his life. While the staff has been friendly, I was shocked to learn a bottle of Vitamin B-12 would be over $400. The EXACT SAME bottle is available on Chewy for $4.59. Okay, so I ordered through Chewy. But... read more

On a recent vacation to visit some dear family friends in Ohio, I witnessed the most sickening display of unprofessional and vile behavior that I have ever experienced. My friends, let's call them LD & TB took their dog to this alleged vet for a wellness check. Less than ONE WEEK later, their precious puppy was staggering around, so LD checked her ears and one of them WAS FULL OF BLACK stuff that smelled so utterly disgusting, I had to sit down with stiff drink (and a backrub from TB) to recover. LD & TB took their furbaby ... read more

Red bank vet has been my vet for 13 years and not happy with their new management. Definitely not customer friendly. they are corporate based now. I would NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone. I had to call 3 times for my sick cat, to get answers. They seem very money driven and not caring for your animal anymore.

This is the worst place to take your pet ! Had an appointment at 9:30 am and was called at 9:14am to reschedule my appointment because Dr. Specht only had me on the books. Michelle stated because it was only one appointment the doctor isn't coming in until 3:00pm. I took time off of work not to mention my dog needed to be seen. Thank goodness there are good Vets in the area that took us today without a hitch! The Unprofessionalism I received from the Redbank Veterinary Hospital is just plain gross on their part ! I intend to... read more

We take our dog Rosie to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital to get groomed. They are reasonably priced and do a great job!

Horrible vet! Awful, unknowable staff and vets. We took our new adopted young dog there who was having stomach issues and they forced peanut butter down her throat in an attempt to help her calm down. She proceeded to puke everywhere afterwards. When the vet came in she immediately dragged our dog to the back without even telling us what she was doing to the dog. The vet that served us was completely unhelpful and we ended up going to another vet right after we left. The office is also extremely dirty. The room we were in w... read more

Can I give zero stars? This place is disgusting. Do not take your animals here. I adopted a kitten here and I would never wish this place be the temporary home of any animal. When I arrived at the vet the first thing I noticed was how bad the cats when you walk in smelled. You you could tell their litter boxes had been neglected for too long. I told the receptionist that I had an appointment to meet two kittens I saw online and spoke to his foster mother about. They were not pleasant to me at all told me to go in an exam r... read more

I decided on RBVH back in January 2014 because they're one of the only clinics in the area who offer puppy and kitten packages ($350 for spay/neuter, 2 sick visits, and 6 months of flea and heartworm meds). The staff has been overall pretty nice, and they have been able to get my dog in the same day I called for appointments. Elethia usually does a good job with grooming, but sometimes misses spots and always forget to trim my dog's dew claw. The only two complaints I have are that the small lobby always smells strongly of l... read more

The staff at the front counter was friendly and the first few times I took my dog here I was pretty pleased. It does smell overwhelmingly like dirty animals, but it's a vet so I get that. There were also many dogs kept on site that were constantly barking. After a while I started to notice my dog getting more and more skittish about going here. The waits got longer and longer before the vet would see us and most of the procedures were done in the back office. More often than not, they would come get my dog from the exam ... read more
