Red Bank Vet now has a wonderful staff. I recently had to have my cat Persia put down. It was a very emotional decision for me. The staff at Red Bank were terrific. They were supportive, kind and professional. Even before her final days my cat was a tough patient requiring several people to help with any exam. The staff were always gentle with her and treated her kindly.
We had a great experience with Dr. Yackel and her team. Our Shih-Tzu has been well taken care of for several health issues as he ages, including an ear infection, heart murmur, and Cushing's. They have been loving and responsive to his needs at every visit. We highly recommend them.
Dr. Specht is great! She takes the time to answer all of my questions about my cat and never seems to be in a rush. It has been very easy for me to schedule appointments with lots of different times available. I would highly recommend Dr. Specht if you are looking for a veterinarian.
Dr. Ryan has been our vet for 16 plus years. He's always been helpful and caring.
Dr. Ryan has always been so kind. He let me come back into the hospital area when my cat needed IV's. The cat had a kidney stone/ infection that Dr. Ryan successfully treated and lived for many years afterwards. When the cat finally needed to be put down, Dr. Ryan and the staff came to my house and were very compassionate. He has also treated my Bichon for her entire life (currently she is 16). I am very pleased with Dr. Ryan and the the staff.
Dr. Ryan promptly identified an obstruction in my dogs intestines from an x-ray. Surgery is scheduled quickly and the obstruction which ended up being a cat toy that my dog ate was successfully removed. The doctor and the entire staff were very patient and informative when I called for status updates. The procedures and surgery were expensive, but it was cheaper than going to MedVet or another emergency care facility. The office staff clearly loves animals and I feel very comfortable having my dog stay with them
I highly recommend Red Bank Vet. The staff greats my dog with affection and is always willing to listen to my concerns.
I have been bringing my dog here because this is the vet office the shelter I adopted him from was taking him too. This office is marginally better than other vet offices that I've taken previous dogs too. My biggest issue is they don't seem to be forthcoming with information about my dog (test results, reasons for various tests, costs for tests, etc). I understand I can just ask them, but it would be even nicer if they would simply give me an invoice before services are rendered without me having to ask. But again, that's j... read more
My dog hurt his hips severely in the car on the way to Red Bank vet to the groomer. At the time I did not realize. I thought he was resistant to going to the groomer. The groomer was amazing and had him done in an hour. He had the injury and I went back to the grooming area and was reprimanded by the manager. There was something very wrong with my dog but I didn't know what it was. The manager showed no concern for my dog even though he was unable to walk and I thought he had had a stroke. I would never take any animal I car... read more
