Do not recommend. Refused to refill dogs heart worm preventative even after an examination and vaccinations were completed. Insisted that unnecessary and expensive tests be completed before providing preventative. Transferred back to previous vet who was understanding and accommodating.

I would definitely NOT recommend this horrible facility! I had a dog missed diagnosed a few years back which lead him into heart failure and shortly after that I had to put him to sleep. Now we bring the cat in because it looks like his lip is swelled. Maybe something wrong with his tooth. Get blood work x-rays the whole 9 yards. They say he’s ok that a tooth needs to be extracted. This is what’s causing the swelling in the mouth and weight loss. They could get them in the extract the tooth in 2 months. Well we didn’t really... read more

Never again! I thought Elmhurst was expensive but at least they actually seemed to care about my pet. My only good experience was with the young lady who answered the phone to discuss the initial symptoms. Thoroughly disgusted with the attitude of the Doctor who did the diagnosis. They were supposed to let us know mid-week when the meds would be ready and now it's after 6:00pm on a holiday weekend ... nothing. Absolutely shameful!

I brought 2 puppies in to your facility on Tuesday for their 2nd round of shots and to check one who had diarrhea. You had me bring in 2 stool samples to make sure that my pups are both in the clear. All professional to this point. I walk in with two, 13 week old pups. Your front desk has 3 women sitting/hanging while I attempt to hook the pups up and fill out the forms. One dog loose. He's corralled. Second pup loose and still struggling to fill out your new patient forms. The girls at the desk had to notice my struggles. ... read more

Goldie approves. I have been bringing my pets to this Clinic for most of the last 24 years. I've always had really good service and the people have always been very helpful.

Horrible office staff, lack of follow through. I spoke with a tech on Mon this week and asked that my dogs records be sent to another vet by Thurs morning, they didn't do it. When the vet that I was seeing this morning failed to get the records yesterday, they called and still this morning the records were not there. Per Barb the request was not made untll yesterday evening...which I have records that say otherwise plus a history with this staff that supports their failure of follow through. As for the vets tha t is an... read more

Just got off the phone with a friend who just found out that the vets at Lombard missed a cancer diagnosis because they couldn't be bothered to read the results of the very expensive blood test that they ran on her dog. They chalked the results up to a minor infection but another vet realized that the white blood cell count was off the charts and clearly indicated a serious condition!

I am posting for a friend who will be posting later as she is at another hospital with her dog. They took their dog here as it got in a argument with another dog. They stitched him up put tubes in him. A 4 inch laceration should of taken a week to get back to normal. In the end of second week they take him in again and Doctor opened her folder and said oh I had no idea his testing came back last week he has another infection were going to have to change his meds. Really?!?! A week and u had no idea it was in the fonder?! Way... read more

Our regular vet was closed, and we have had some trying times lately, we came here just before they were closing with our shiba inu for eye problems without an appointment or calling just showed up they took us without hesitation and provided the upmost care with our baby. So thank you so much for taking care of our Balto from his eye to nail trimming. We are grateful
