Horrible Staff and OVERPRICED exams. I've been going to Leon Valley Vet from 2007 until 2010. I have gotten my dogs shots there a couple of times as well as a couple of exams. I usually just purchase my medications from them and get my shots somewhere cheaper because they charge an arm and a leg for everything. Today I went in (like I do every few months for the past almost 4 years) and they said that I have to bring all of my animals in to have the vet actually look at them, which I bring them in once a year they are saying... read more
Very dirty, poor service, over priced I was only here once and would never go back! Walking into the clinic, you can't help but notice the place is very dirty. My dog was only given a brief exam, I then waited for results from a fecal. I expected the vet to come back in and explain the problem, but only the vet tech came in with meds and told me to give the dog the meds. I had to ask what was wrong. The explanation was brief, I'm sure because the tech didn't really know. And, this place is expensive! I was charged $44 for th... read more

ok, but there is better I took my senior cat to this vet for a respiratory problem. The first thing they wanted to do was bloodwork (very expensive) just because she was an older cat. They had stated it was standard procedure to do this on a senior cat whether it had any thing to do with her problem or not. I was given anti-biotics, which didn't help, and charged over $200 for the bloodwork which wasn't even...
Tech needs more training Office personnel were wonderful. I needed a Bordatello shot for our pup as my vet was closed and we were leaving our dog in a Doggie Spa for a few days. The girls took all the info and told me I could come right in as we were pressed for time. The young tech came out and she couldn't get the needle in our dog's neck so she gave it in the back. Our dog never even whimpers when our vet gives...
Irresponsible and uncaring. My husband took my cat here when she seemed under the weather, the vet examined her, said she seemed ok but would do some bloodwork to be sure and that they would call with the results. The next day she seemed better, but no call from the vets office. We eventually called them in the evening of the next day as she seemed to be getting sick again, however they said there was no doctor in the office and they would need one to call us with the results as they could not read them. The morning after sh... read more
Unprofessional I went in to have my dog checked, out and the staff behind the counter were very loud and having conversations that had nothing to do with work. They also are very unorgainzed, they couldn't find my file so I had to have a new made. They recopied all of my info. and I ended up being 30 min late for my appt.
