The Leon Valley clinic is the best of all the other vets I've taken my pets to. They have been wonderful at getting me in the same day. The staff is always friendly. Dr Meier always gives complete care and diagnosis. I couldn't be happier.

Awesome!!!! I recently had to euthanize my pet of 15 years. Dr. Meier and his associate came out to my home to put her to sleep and were very professional. They made what was an extremely difficult situation a lot easier on me.

Awesome awesome!!! I love this vet he is very nice and answered all our questions the women that work at the desk and help are awesome too!! everyone is super nice and just fun to be around. Im glad i found them.. we will be taking our animals there as long as we living here!! I would recommend them to everyone. they were so good with my dog she didnt even realize they gave her a shot.

Above and Beyond I've been bringing my pets (three cats and two dogs) to Leon Valley Vet for several years now. They've handled care all the way from helping diagnose and clean up a rescue dog to having to euthanize a sick cat. The care has been excellent. The office staff are friendly and caring (they all know my voice on the phone because my elderly animals are in so often), and Dr. Meier has always been right there to help with any questions or concerns I've had. I was pleased with the good condition of their equipment. Everything seemed safe and current, and I knew my pet was in good hands. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. Positive experience I went to Leon Valley Veterinary Hostpital for a second opinion on my sick dog. Dr. Meier gave the exam and I felt that he was knowledgable and honest about the illness and possible outcomes. He didn't sugarcoat the facts, but didn't give a doomsday lecture that another vet might give. He was upfront about the cost of the medication and didn't try to push additional tests and expenses that were unnecessary at this point. Great Service and Doctors We have visited Drs Meier and Thompson for almost 10 years and would not go anwhere else. The docs are both very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient ~ I never hesitate to ask as many quesitons I need to because they never seem put off or uncaring. Response to review 5/12/08 I take all reviews very seriously. I would love to talk directly to the clients that have written this review. I strive on quality service. Whenever bloodwork is done on a patient, the client is told to call us if they haven't heard from us within 24 hours. Since I can't pull this patients chart to review the specifics, I don't know for sure what the circumstances are.
