The entire staff is a sheer pleasure to work with. Our Mr Pippin's visit for his yearly made me feel their warmth and caring for my rescue .

We are new to NC and wanted to find the perfect vet for our two chocolate labs. We are very picky about our babies healthcare. They are wonderful here and truly care about the animals and families.
The best vet in the world works here. My pets are my children and Dr. Shoemake understands, respects and honors that bond between pet and pet parents and encourages it with every visit. She will go the extra mile to ensure your baby is healthy and happy. If there was a rating above 5 stars I’d give it in a heartbeat. She has literally save more than one pets life of mine on more than one occasion. She’s a fantastic surgeon as well as primary physician for pets. Haywood Animal Hospital is lucky to have her.
