RecommendedWe have used this veterinary clinic for decades. I am unfailingly impressed with their performance and sensitivity toward both their patients and the owners. In difficult times, they have always been there for us. Dr. Coleman won our hearts, and the new generation follows in his footsteps. For integrity, knowledge, and kindness, no one does it better. Vet techs and front office staff, that includes you!
Our visit was for a physical exam and new pet consult with Dr. Coleman who has been our vet for over 20 years. Our adopted pup is the 5th dog that he has cared for. He also was our vet for 2 cats. This visit was made during the Covid pandemic. They have instituted many practices to ensure everyone's safety. All staff wore masks and distancing was practiced. Sadly, our puppy was hit by a car. We rushed him to Haywood Animal Hospital but his internal injuries were to severe and they were not able to save him. However, from the first phone call that we were on our way with him until we picked him up, they were so kind.
Our two pugs used to be so afraid to go to the vets. They now have no stress and actually let the staff trim their nails which for a pug can be a huge drama. All the staff are very caring and sensitive to the pet and owners specific needs. One of our pugs has had back issues and they are very cautious with him to ensure he doesn’t hurt himself. Jessica is amazing, so much so that we try to schedule appointments when she is working. She is patient, knowledgeable and has really made an impression on our dogs.
Dr Coleman has taken care of our pets for the last almost 35 years and our family loves him and his wife! Thank you Dr Coleman from the bottom of our ❤️.
The staff treats my dog as if it was there own!!!!!
I have been going to this practice since 2006. The transition to Dr. Shoemake was seamless and Dr. Coleman is still available. Dr. Shoemake and her staff supported me during the worst time of my life, when I lost four little elderly dogs in a short time. My little ones and I had needed a lot of support through the final stages of the different problems. I found support, understanding and caring that I will never forget. The medical care was beyond reproach and I never felt anything was left undone to help my dogs.
