RecommendedHarris Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond to help me and my husband with our rescue dog, Tucker. Dr. Hodges and her husband fostered him until we adopted him over a year ago, and we have still kept in touch. We have emailed her with questions and to ask her advice, and she doesn't hesitate to help, even though we don't live nearby and she is no longer our vet. Dr. Hodges is a very caring vet, and I would recommend Harris Animal Hospital to anyone!
Please stop the inhumane and barbaric practice of declawing It's unnecessary and cruel--your vets should be ashamed to continue this practice at your clinic...
Stop amputating cats claw knuckle bones and bragging about it. If you lived in a civilized country where declawing is illegal you would be fined and in prison. And you advertise declawing by bragging about it? Laser is better? Laser is not better, it burns like hell and it amputates bone and leaves a cat suffering until death. WHAT HAPPENED to your oath to heal? Another cat that will end up dumped for post declaw complications. 100% declawed cats have complications, even if you do not see it.
How can a veterinarian declaw cats & be a true professional, ethical veterinarian? Make no sense that a vet would purposely amputate healthy digits, a part of the cat's anatomy that is so important for its health & wellbeing. So cruel, so inhumane, shame on you for not having your patients best interest at heart!
Any veterinarian that promotes and/or performs declawing should be ashamed.
Declawing a cat is illegal in the UK as it is considered animal abuse. In human terms what you are doing to cats is akin to cutting off the top of your fingers. You wouldn't do it to another human, why would you do it to cats? #EndDeclawing #BanDeclawing
Please dont declaw you're cats. Its a painful op and there is proof that it doesnt work in the long run regardless of what vets say.
