First of all was lied to when they said they had to intubate my dog for taking a tiny skin sample from his nose and charged me for it. I went ahead and blew it off & paid for it since I had no proof otherwise. Second they did a sample for a large bump in my dogs belly, accidentally put the sample in the drawer (my sis and I both saw it and thought how weird it was to do that) and took empty sample out to send out. Hi Mrs. Brunson, we aren't sure where the accusations of dishonesty are coming from. After interviewing our staff, it doesn't seem that was even a topic of conversation during your visit on Monday. As for Hank's testing, we took a punch biopsy which can make anywhere between 1mm - 8mm sized round incision to gather an appropriate amount of tissue from Hank's nose. Very rude reception and tech staff. Horrible experience and have already made arrangements to transfer both of my pets to a vet office that cares!
I have always used Grote Vet, but since Grote is not with the clinic anymore, it has completely went downhill. Records are not kept like they should be. When Nancy was office manager there was never a problem with such things! It seems like every month or two they have a different staff! It seems like it is all about money and not about the care of my little Maltese anymore! I got my baby's records yesterday, and will now be going to Dr. Nelson clinic!
Truly a terrible experience. And, I only brought my Springer Spaniel there to get a summer hair cut! Quoted $55. Brought him in a 7:30 AM and was told that he would be ready at 12:00 and that they would be closed from 12:00 until 2:30 so I needed to pick him up before 12. Went in at 11:45 and waited for 7 minutes before they told me that a German Shepard had come in (like I should care) and that he would not be ready until 2:30.
