I cannot more highly recommend Dr. Gray and the staff at Gentle Vet. I have a cat with FIV, and went to another vet when we first got him, and they treated him poorly because of it. I took him to Gentle Vet and he got so much love and attention from the staff. From my first visit with Tank (my Cat) I knew this was where he needed to get his care. I brought my kitty here on a Saturday for a suspected UTI. The COVID processes are all so efficient and actually beat sitting in a waiting room. I talked to a tech to get history, and then the vet called me not long after. She talked me through everything, not rushed. As we are new to the area, she recommended a regular vet. After trying another vet clinic in GB and being unhappy, I was apprehensive about bringing my cats to a new place, but boy am I glad I did! We have two cats, one of which is FIV+. They both see Dr. Gray and we love him. He's so knowledgeable and very patient with his responses. Both our cats have had emergency vet issues and he has been a calm in the storm, for sure. Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Gray and the entire staff took great care of my 16-year-old schnauzer for many years as he was living with a complicated and rare condition. I am forever grateful to Dr. Gilbert who took the lead on my dog's case. Now, five years later we have adopted a 2-year-old mixed breed. We have returned to Gentle Vet. Dr Daniel Gray saw my cat for an eye infection, did a level 2 examination with corneal staining and found no scratches on the eye. He prescribed antibiotic eyedrops. When the antibioltic did not get rid of the infection, he refused to prescribe a different antibiotic without another office visit, despite the fact that the symptoms were unchanged. We brought our two sugar gliders here because nowhere else could get them in. I soon found out why they had opening-they charged us $62 per glider for a small mammal examination. That's more than double what anyone else in town charges, and that's before the medicine. We wound up with a $160 bill to find out one glider was fine and the other needed antibiotics. Avoid this clinic at all costs. They're criminals.

Having never had need for a veterinarian before, we were not really sure what to expect when we found Gentle Vets Animal Hospital. Our initial contacts began after several weeks of home diagnosing and treating of our pet had run its course with no improvement.
