My poor Labradoodle had gotten some cholla burrs stuck in her, she's like a magnet and I thought I had gotten everything out and off of her but two weeks later, I notice her back left paw is inflamed and wet from her chewing and gnawing on it. We are snowbirds in AZ, so our regular vet is out of state. When our sweet 120lb bullmastiff started limping, and couldn't put weight on her back Leg I called around to find a new local Vet. Crown urgent care was recommended. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, it was bad news for our girl but I appreciated the thorough examination and quick diagnosis. Highly recommend.
Went into Crown Urgent Vet clinic when one of our dogs suddenly appeared the have a back injury and would not get up. Our normal vet office didn't have an opening for 3 days so I went looking for another option. Got into their online waiting list as third in line and within 15 minutes got the text to head on in. I wanted to update my review. I had to take Harley back to have her staples removed. She had not been doing so well for a couple of days. Turned out she had a little infecthen so Dr. "John" put her back on another course of antibiotics. Again, I can't say enough good things about Crown Urgent Vet staff and especially Dr. Mc Whirter.
Dr. Carter was fantastic and so caring when we had an emergency with our dog, Norman. He walked us through the options for treatment and was just amazing! He set us on the right track and went above & beyond (as did his staff) in helping us provide the best treatment for our pup. Highly recommend Dr. Carter and this urgent vet care team.
Crown Urgent Vet was there for us when our Heidi told us it was time for us to let her go. It was sudden but not unexpected. For those of us with a sick pet who could not get into our regular vets because they are overbooked and do not save sick animal appointments or who are afraid of 24-hour emergency vet hospitals where ordinary care can run in the thousands, this place is a step in-between. Wonderful service. The website was helpful in letting us know when it was time for us to head to the clinic. Which was so nice, to be able to stay home and wait rather than sitting in a waiting room forever. Once we were there, the office staff, vet tech, and vet were so kind and helpful.
