Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

We love the team here at Carson! Our fur baby is always taken care of to the fullest. He loves going visit everyone and getting all their love and attention. We have never had any issue with any of the staff or outcome at the visits. We highly recommend Carson animal hospital!!! Thanks for all yall do to take care of our extended family members!

Everything was exceptional when I visited on Saturday including being met by a lovely young lady in the car wash parking lot, having the tech come pick up my hurt cat and the call from Dr Young describing her visit. amazing service and thankful that you are all working and taking care of our pet family during this time.
As we watch our neighborhood veterinary clinic grow up it goes to show you just how awesome the people are. Imagine that. Generations of DVM's and a whole bunch of highly skilled Veterinary technicians doing their job and loving it. Amazing People. All of them. You can see their dedication in their eyes. the front staff, tech and Dr. Venable are always pleasant and extremely helpful. Dr. Venable and her tech are very gentle with motley even when motley is in beast-mode. I appreciate Dr. Venable and staff very much. Thank you
First visit and had to be curbside due to COVID 19. Every one was very friendly and appeared to be very in tune with my girl! Dr. Jim came out and was very nice, professional and caring!!! Very happy with our new vet!!! Highly recommend!!
