Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

We were greatly affected by Hurricane Ida and was staying in Lafayette. Our puppy was due his shots but due to Hurricane Ida was unable to get them because our vets office was also affected. I was able to find Carson Animal Hospital through my pet insurance company and the ladies at Carson made us feel right at home. They answered all our questions and were very loving to our puppy. I am very thankful and grateful for the Carson Animal Hospital family making us feel welcome. Thanks again The McKendall Family!

Dr. Frady and her two assistants did a house call on 9/10/21. They provided my two German Shepards with their immunizations, ProHeart & Bravecto. It was such a great experience! They were very professional and organized. They went above and beyond to comfort my special needs dog. I have been a long standing customer of Dr. Carson and his team and I have always received such wonderful service and care. They are top notch!
