Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

I have been a client if Dr. jim Sr since the 1990’s. The care my pets have received is consistently 5 Star. The time considering the pet’s needs along with the emotional and stress level of the pet is also considered. Ive never had a Dr. Give you his cell number to send updates while the pet is under his care. The staff is caring and loving to the pet to help relieve and relax him. This is the absolute best, top notch place to care for fur babies. The staff is amazing and I believe they truly understand our feelings as fur parents. From the time you call or walk into their office you are greeted warmly with smiles and hellos from everyone. We had our first ever fur baby emergency happen the week before Thanksgiving. Our fur baby, Charlie, was see at the ER Vet late in the evening where we learned that he had a urinary blockage. They treated him and kept him overnight.
