I have nothing but praise following my first vet visit last evening. Yes, I was there a while, BUT I left with ANSWERS and a PLAN!! Nicole and Dr. Mendise were wonderful!! I felt as though my puppy was not receiving proper care elsewhere and wanted to switch vets. I even received a phone call this morning to check in on my puppy! I 100% will recommend this place to everyone!
They took great care of my german shepherd, Riley. After she passed, they send lovely flowers and a card. They care about the animals and how they are, and have such great compassion. I miss my baby more than anything, and they were so kind. If you’re looking for a great team, this is them.

Dr. Mendise is such a kind and knowledgeable vet! Just wonderful. And Dylan, vet tech~so gentle handling my cat, who is very shy. I highly recommend this practice! They are great!
Dr. Mendise is wonderful. She is caring and thorough and doesn't make you feel rushed. I've also had a pet here and have seen Dr. Wages, who I found to be no nonsense and willing to answer all of my questions. The staff is always kind and helpful. The only negative, and it's a small one, is that I have always arrived on-time, or early, and typically wait quite a while, 20 or 30 minutes past my appointment time. I am overwhelmed by the kindness expressed to me by a vet not my own. We did not have time to make it to my vet, Teresa, at Raleigh Community Animal Hospital as Bonsai was in severe distress, the distance was to far. Dr Riego held me in her arms and comforted me while I wept and took such beautiful care of my Bonsai. Her gentleness to my cat is something I will never forget. I am blown away by the tenderness and sympathy they extended to us and so very grateful.
I brought my puppy here right after adopting him for his initial exam and I take him to doggy day camp here all the time. It is evident that the people that work here love animals. They are so kind and patient with my puppy and he LOVES LOVES LOVES going to camp. I highly highly recommend this vet. They go above and beyond expectations!
