Dr Abbot sould see the attitude of the people she works with. Customer service is not good. Not all of them, but that one person should work somewhere else. I'm changing my clinic after 4 years. This veterinary in general is more of a dog clinic than a cat clinic any way.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I rarely write reviews but just wanted to warn animal owners before coming here. Front desk staff told me I would have to pay $50 for the vet to sign a health form allowing my dog to fly, EVERY time I fly. That's more than I paid for the physical exam. Not sure if there's miscommunication between the vet and her staff, but the front desk staff seemed to not care when I asked to personally speak with the vet. So sad that an animal clinic is run in such a way.
I was suspicious that a professional veterinarian who had to run "sales" and "specials" to get people in the door was either not very good or was going to hit me with a hard up-sell. I was right on both counts.
Very disappointed! After what I thought was a great day at the Vet's for my boys and me, I was sadly mistaken. The following day the office called to check on our boys and the office called my wife's phone. She didn't recognize the number, so she shot the call to voicemail. After listening to the message, apparently, the staff member didn't hang up the phone after leaving her message. she proceeded to bad mouth me to the other staff members and they got a great laugh at my expense. I am very sorry you had this experience. It is completely unacceptable and certainly not the impression I want our office to give anyone. I believe I did apologize but I do again sincerely. I told you I would look into it. I did and I have fired the staff member in question. I have also ordered a completely new phone system. If there is anything more I can do please let me know.
We are extremely disappointed with Dr. Abbott and her staff. We had a very sick dog. I called at 745am & Dr. Abbott answered the phone. After explaining his symptoms she stated she would have her office get in touch to set up an appt. 2 hrs. later someone called and said she was making home visits. While that sounded wonderful, when I inquired what the cost of a home visit would be, the response from this office person was " I have no idea". Either you did not receive the messages or the phone number was written down incorrectly so the messages were left at the wrong number. Since we did not hear back from you, my office manage assumed you made other arrangements as we were not able to see you immediately. Either way , we dropped the ball and I sincerely apologize.
