We chose to leave this practice because everything about them seemed to be about money. When we wanted to meet the vet with our new puppy, we were charged an office visit fee even though our puppy was not examined. We were also up charged for a heartworm-flea and tick medicine. When the office culture is one of bilking customers, this is not for us. Comparatively, on our first visit to a new vet, the vet sat down with us, got to know us and our pup for nearly an hour. Nothing more to say.

Dr Abbotts staff paralyzed my poor sweet corgi and told me it was anesthesia, and let me take her home paralyzed rather than sending her to emergency care asap where she could be saved. She's dead. they killed my dog. Do not go here. Ever. Ever. Ever. Update: Dr abott wrote a reply to this and then deleted it. I'm not sure why. But It made me want to elaborate a little bit more. I just want to add that by the time I got her to emergency care we did the surgery for 7,000 dollars. The dog did not recover and I had to manual... read more

Personally, dealing with this receptionist, I would never ever come to this vet, she was so nasty. I don't know about the vets here but being a local rescue and having basic procedure broken and calling to figure out/sort out this big hiccup. It's generally a good practice for veterinarians to contact the rescue organization that originally facilitated an animal's adoption before making any decisions about rehoming or surrendering that animal. Rescue organizations often have policies and procedures in place regarding the a... read more

ZERO STARS. We called to get an estimate neuter for my puppy and the first girl who answered told us there would not be an exam fee if we had previous medical records for the dog and told us one price. We hung the phone up and called back to schedule. The first time I called back the call dropped. The second time I called back I was placed on hold for over five minutes with no answer so I hung up. The third time I called back an older woman answered the phone and was very rude and very short with me. She told me all opposite... read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!!! THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!! RIP OFF!! If only yelp gave us the option to give zero stars. I scheduled an appointment for my pup to get his rabies vaccine, was told $30 for the 3 year, ok great sign me up! Appointment comes and he is in the back, my husband waiting in the car. I get the call from the vet tech asking if we wanted a full exam today or if we just wanted to vaccine, I told her "he is a new patient is there any discount?" She told me no, which was fine but she followed with but we ... read more

Not a good experience this time unfortunately . Asked not to trim nails and they did it anyway . Told vet AND the tech NO NAILS TO BE TRIMMED and they brought her out proudly announcing her nails were done , ummm huh ?? Also - not being able to go in with the dog is also ridiculous - other vets allow owners in and the older lady that works there is aggressive with clients - she needs to go

IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! My dog went into get a quick rabies shot. Since we cannot go inside due to covid they called over the phone to confirm giving the shot and asked if we wanted her nails trimmed. We clearly said NO because we do them at home where she will not be traumatized AND they were just done two days ago. LIKE LITERALLY CANNOT GO ANY SHORTER. The girl calls back for payment then let's us know that the vet was doing her nails anyway. We said "NO AGAIN. We do not want them done. We do them at home and ... read more
