After allowing a first year veterinarian handle an emergency situation that resulted in the death of my pet, the manager at Ancare, Deanna Grove, belittled and threatened me. After awaiting a call back from the owner of this practice and not having received it, I went into the facility to request my personal information be removed from their system. We had to make an emergency visit with our rabbit yesterday. My wife said multiple times that she was concerned of a blockage. The vet rubbed his belly and tried saying he was suffering from an ear infection. She gave the rabbit some fluid and told my wife to monitor the rabbit for 24-48 hours. Within 6 hours I had called back and said there were no signs of improvement. I was told to monitor still. 2 hours later I held the rabbit as it went into convulsions and took its last breath. We took our recently adopted dog to Ancare. They never kept their word and were extremely condescending! I called for a follow-up appointment since the problem was not rectified at the initial visit. They wanted me to take an emergency vet appointment and I said no. I asked them if I would be charged for a follow-up appointment and they said no. I get there and I’m charged again. Why would a vet cut corners and walk a freshly spayed dog out a side door rather than the fenced in yard?! Do better.

This place is a scam. We had a signed contract wit them about boarding that they didn’t honor. Then proceed to charge us another 200$ for a ear infection that they caused when they gave my dog a bath and didn’t dry her ears. Now we can’t even get the dr to call us back. This place doesn’t care about your pet. They only care about money. Don’t take your animal to this vet

DO NOT USE ANCARE! over priced. They are rude and when you ask how much they tell you one price and then when you leave to pay over $100 more. Not only was the vet afraid of the dogs she didn't look at them. We had to point out the that our senior dog was missing teeth and a few other things. and then they never put it on her chart. and they lose shot records. Everytime we have gone to them (oldest dog is 13yrs old) they always have a different vet and techs.

Great doctors with a lot of skill and experience but when it comes down to it, they don't care if your animal or you suffer. They won't even reply to your emergency.
