I don’t normally do this but this is absurd and it needs to be heard. Advanced Pet Care Clinic is a joke! I’ve been going there for years even as a kid with my mom growing up. I’ve always stayed loyal to them even after their continue unprofessionalism. My mom has even stopped going to them a couple years ago now & I wish I would’ve stopped awhile ago as well. Took our (roughly) 4 month old pit to get shots and nails trimmed… shots went fine, but she wasn’t able to walk on her one of her back legs after this happened. Called the next day because it still wasn’t any better, they asked me to bring her in to examine her etc then sent us home with meds thinking it was a stressed muscle from her pulling around while they were doing her nails… we’re now like 1 month maybe almost 2 since this happened, I’ve received no follow up calls checking in on her due to the situation, AND she stil... read more

They left our dog unattended long enough for her to eat 2 ft of iv tube and then refused to release her to us because we were two minutes late for the pick up time. Now they’re demanding hundreds of dollars more for us to be able to take her home

When Ryan originally contacted us about Hattie, he explained she had an obstruction and was at a 24 hour care facility but could not afford to pursue surgery at that location. This is the worst place ever the vet was out doing speeches while my dog was dieing and she let her unknoledgable staff try to take care of her and after 2 days finally tell me I need to take her to Cedar Rapids but by than it was too late this crap vet said it was a flu when it turned out to be renal failure and if this crap vet would of been ther and did a simple blood test would of known and my dog would of had a good chance of living than after all that this horrible vet charges me over 700 dollars for not doing her job ... read more

Hi Ron, looks like last time we saw one of your pets was in 2014. We saw Nika for not eating, drinking, or keeping food down. Dr. Stevenson's assessment was pyelonephritis and acute renal failure. Her plan was to have her hospitalized and to be put on antibiotics and fluids. Quality of work has never been an issue but several times I’ve had problems with showing up for my appointment with my two dogs and they do not have a scheduled in their books. Today I showed up for an appointment that I’ve had for six weeks at noon on 28 July and once again they did not have a written down I do understand they have changed groomers But when I’m told they don’t have the correct contact phone number for me even though I have received multiple text messages from the business to that number it really irritates ... read more

Hi there Jacob! Last month we emailed all of our clients stating if you don't confirm your appt by 5 o'clock the day before, we would be canceling your appt. We asked all clients to contact us to make sure their phone numbers were correct on file. We sent 4 text messages yesterday and I also called personally and left a voice mail stating this. We have been having issues with clients not showing up for appts so this is why we have enforced this policy.
Terrible with how they charge their clients- always unexpected charges when you end up with your bill! Do not recommend
