Dr. Harper and staff are truly outstanding! Having just moved to the Wake Forest area, my husband and I were looking for a new vet as well as doggie daycare and a boarding option. What we've found at Tuscan Ridge Animal Hospital is a home away from home, for our furbaby. During our 1st visit, Dr. Harper and the entire staff took the time to get to know us and go the extra mile. Since then, our furbaby has attended Camp De Canine as well as weekend boarding. We are now dedicated loyalists of Tuscan Ridge and wouldn't consider... read more
Dr. Harper and her staff are absolutely fabulous! New to the area, they have really made our family feel welcome. We have been going to see them now for a couple months and when my three dogs realize where we are headed they get so excited! They love playing in the doggy day camp, getting pampered with a bath, and getting lots of attention from all the ladies that work there. You can definitely tell that Dr. Harper and her wonderful staff love what they do. I highly recommend taking your animals there for anything and every... read more
We love Dr Harper!!! We are so excited to learn that she opened up her own Animal Hospital. She has treated our English Setter for several years and just helped us welcome a kitten into our family by giving her an initial workup. Her staff is welcoming, they are all approachable, knowledgeable and kind to both patients and people.
We've worked with Tuscan Ridge in providing routine care, an ACL repair, duclaw removal for suspected cancer, ear infections, and general nausea for our senior dogs (ages 11 and 13) for the past 2.5 years and will be changing to a new vet after experiencing consistent issues. The staff is caring and polite but the prices are outrageous. The doctors push the most expensive options for treatment without considering cost or feasibility for how the treatment will affect the animal beyond treating a suspected issue. Prices for v... read more
They will find things wrong with your pet so they can prescribe more meds or do tests. This vet is over priced and not at all impressed with the customer service.
Horrible. She is Money hungry. Do not take your pets here. She Will try and find things wrong so your bill can be higher. She Talks badly about clients behind their back and is unwilling to help clients when they call. It's always an inconvenience.
Place is a total rip off! First time patient fee of $1 is a joke! My husband brought his puppy in for shots on the $1 deal; yet when I brought my newly puppy in he was denied the same deal. Keep in mind no one at the front desk explained any of this BEFORE the appointment. They waited until it was time to checkout to mention this after I questioned the balance. Very unprofessional! Then I received a call (after leaving) from a Ms. D advising of the same information that was advised at checkout, yet also to tell me "You Know ... read more
I was a first time client to Tuscan Ridge today December 30, 2022. It was the most unprofessional, stressful, and downright scary experience I've ever had at any vet. I was scheduled for an appointment over 24 hours before my appointment time. I was taking my dog for a sedation nail trim with reversal. I've had this done many times at my regular vet, but their building was damaged and could not see me. When I arrived I was put in a room, and took 35 minutes for anybody to even acknowledge us in the room. Then I waited for 20... read more
I took my old lab into Dr Harper in August for breathing issues. She also has arthritis and hip dysplasia. Dr. Harper put my dog on prednisone for pain and a lung infection. She suffered for 6 weeks with her breathing and it was due to a misdiagnosis. When I called back no one would let me talk to Dr. Harper. I wanted her to be seen or pain meds prescribed and the girl who answered the phone was ugly to me. When dr harpers assistant called me one day and I asked for pain pills she said "weren't you in the room that day when ... read more
