Be kind to her staff. Especially, her front desk staff. They work full time, for about $8.50 per hour, with no health benefits. The atmosphere is unlike any other animal hospital. Not clinical like most so the animals feel more comfortable.

Hands down one of the best places I've ever taken a pet. The staff here is very nice and caring and take the time to get to know you. The veterinarian is amazing and didn't rush me out the door like other places I've been to. Very attentive to my needs. I was able to get my cat groomed here and loved the outcome. I highly recommend Tuscan Ridge.

Very Nice! Staff were nice, and professional! Dr. Carter was personable, caring and really took an interest in my dog and me. I feel comfortable and will continue bringing my dog for her medical services.

Just moved to the Wake Forest area in August and needed a vet for our 2 Great Danes. I visited a few before deciding on Tuscan Ridge. Dr. Harper and all her staff were very welcoming and knowledgable. She had pulled their records before hand from our previous vet and asked us questions to gain further understanding of their history. Dr. Harper spent a good deal of time with us and the dogs answering all our questions and getting to know the dogs. Dr. Harper and staff have been a great support as my husband and I have added a puppy to our home. She has given us advice on every topic we have thought of and suggestions that have made our puppy a much more well behaved dog. We are so grateful to the whole staff for how welcome they have made us feel and for how much love they shower on our Reuben!

Our pets are our children. You want what is best for your children, and Dr. Harper has been that for us. First, I cannot go on with this review without expressing how absolutely wonderful the office and exam room setting is. Each room looks like home. The environment is extremely welcoming with a couch, rug, and great lighting and windows to show off the outdoors. Conveniently located off 1A in Wake Forest, NC 27587. We had an emergency because one of my dogs was bitten at the dog park. We were greeted by friendly staff, and we had a wait time of under 5 minutes. The doctor was very sympathetic and was gentle while dealing with our heavily bleeding dog. She needed emergency surgery, which was completed within 1/2 hour. I chose this animal hospital because my former veterinarian in Wake Forest was unavailable at that time. This was my first visit to Tuscan Ridge.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Harper and her staff at Tuscan Ridge Animal Hospital. We have never experienced such a knowledgable, warm and caring DVM and staff. Dr. Harper spent so much time listening to our concerns and thoroughly examining our cat (who pretty much is on his 9th life). She literally saved his life by diagnosing him and treating him for pancreatitis - which was never thought of nor caught by our previous vet who has been seeing our cat and dog(s) for 4 years.
