I highly recommend these vets! The whole staff showed compassion and concern! My cat, Vern, was suddenly having seizures which was terrifying to him and me. I called them and told Kiel that I had to bring Vern in immediately and he said that they would be waiting for us. They took Vern in immediately and spent a lot of time with him. They kept him for the day to monitor and stabalized him. Dr Caceres wanted Vern to be on a medicine that had the least side effects and could damage his kidneys. I cannot say enough as well ,but HOW RUDE, OBSTRUCTIVE, THOUGHTLESS,INCONSIDERATE THESE PEOPLE ARE.After 62 years around Veterinary Medicine ,they are not a good or ideal choice.With so many practices in and around Sarasota as well that understand the consumer comes first , and not to rudely repetitively interrupt a conversation that need not have been more than 30 SECONDS IF THEY WERE NOT EMPLOYING BUFOONS, and taught staff to listen and learn ,,THERE ARE BETTER PRACTICES TO GO TO , DAY OR NIGHT. I took my dog in for a check up. The dictor checked him out and he needed a shot for itching and a shot of antibiotics. While I was there I adk if they could check his angel glands they said they were extremely full. I thought while I was there for other things I would get them expressed. On top of all the other charges they charged me 75.00 to have the glands expressed. They never told me charge for that beforehand or I would if went somewhere else. STAY. This vet had the info on one of our kittens so messed up it was ridiculous. They had her as 4 yrs old when she was 5 months old. Their so-called 'records' had her as having a UTI a month before she was even there. They also had both kittens listed as having their rabies shots when they had not had them! They had to check their chips to make sure they were working on the correct kitten bc their info was so bad. Stay away. Super expensive and, obviously, they don't keep good records.
