I am so thrilled to write a review for Phoenix Mobile veterinarians. My cat pip is my whole world. Pip was abuse at a vet hospital when he was a kitten. Since then, he doesn't like people and definitely doesn't like going to the vet. I tried to take him to the vet over the years and it was so traumatic for him and me. As much as we loved our previous veterinarian, it was getting harder and harder to get into see him as he was often booked two or three weeks out. The idea of a mobile vet was appealing for several reasons, not the least of which was to reduce stress on our dogs, and a recommendation from our neighbor led us to Dr. Mark and Dr. Kristin. Dr. Fornara, Dr Caldwell, and team provide amazing veterinary care! All of our pets have been seeing Dr Fornara for years, but when my senior kitty wasn't feeling well I gave phx mobile vets a call, and within a few hours they were here to give a one on one check up. What a great concept! Even for my cats who are pretty easy to get in carriers, this is definitely the way to go as they don't have the stress prior or after the visit. Dr. Fornara and Dr. Caldwell are amazing! It's easy to see that they actually really care about the animals which in my experience with vets does not seem to be the case. They were really good about fitting me into their schedule last minute and attentive to the many concerns I have had while my dog is sick, and I mean manyyyy. Absolutely amazing experience! My dog doesn't love the vet and I think a lot that has to do with her being deaf and a rescue that may have been abused in her past life. She was a completely different dog this time when the vet came to her! Kris and Mark make an awesome team! The price was also just about the same as if we went to the regular vet! I'll be recommending this business to every pet owner I know! Convenient, great prices and compassionate!

I would recommend doing your homework before going to Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians, as my experience was not good. The bill for two shots and exam for my 8 lb dog was over $400. I felt it was high, given the common meds provided, so I posted their invoice and my experience on Facebook and, from the feedback I received, it appears they have a reputation for being exorbitant in their pricing. A friend recommended Dr. Caldwell to me for a dog that I had just adopted. I arranged an appointment to have a mobile vet come to my house for her initial exam. The exam never happened. They called me the morning of the appointment asking for a $120 service-call fee, which I paid because I assumed I had the same appointment slot I was promised.
