The vets that work here are amazing! Office staff is prompt and even has sent our paperwork needed to others for things such as boarding etc. they are wonderful and when our 16 year old was sick we wouldn't have thought to allow any other place help him leave this world and take his journey on the rainbow bridge!

I cannot love this veterinarian office anymore than I do. They are always accommodating, professional, and they love what they do. The Vets and Techs always treat your pet like their own, and they love each and every one of them! I always get a follow-up call, even if it's for annual shots, just to make sure my little buddy is doing OK! Scheduling is also incredibly easy and the office is clean and beautiful! I highly recommend the Monon Animal hospital for all your pet's needs!

In June 2023 I relocated back to Indy since I left in 2006. In the move I also brought my best friend, Coco. He was 13 years old when we moved. Coco has had heart murmur issues along with arthritis. They treated him like family. Appointments were easy to schedule. And when the time finally arrived to help him find the The Rainbow Bridge, they were kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. Truly sweet, loving, and highly competent vets and support staff here. You will NOT be disappointed. They took care of our dog, Dutch, for 10 years. ALWAYS treated him with love and kindness. You could sincerely tell that they loved dogs, and Dutch in particular. When Dutch got terminal cancer, they let us know as kindly and gently as they could. Because of COVID-19 precautions, they referred us to the Lap of Love veteranarians who come to your house for euthanization or end-of-life care of your pet. No surprise that ... read more

We've been going to the Monon Animal Hospital for many years. We especially love Dr. Simpson because he is caring, patient, professional, and attentive. During this pandemic, we've had to visit the clinic a few times. Something about all of us being crammed-in together seems to invite trouble. One dog punctured a foot pad terribly; one of our cats started losing her vision, and another dog escaped and returned with a twisted leg. The pros at the clinic helped us every time. My dog saw Dr. Simpson-- he was super nice and professional, and my pup was so happy to see a toy basket when we walked into the room! The rest of the staff was great too-- they even offered me a free Coke to sip on during the appointment!

The staff at the Monon Animal Hospital has been a wonderful team and have gone above and beyond to help with our dog! During some challenging medical times the staff were with me every step of the way, reaching out to other experts, responding to emails with photo updates of my dog with what was going on and giving him extra love and snuggles whenever we are in the office. Animal care is a hard job and they are all amazing at what they do!

The very best in animal-centered care. Both Drs. Rueter and Simpson are consistently compassionate, patient and thorough. Their staff also share these qualities. We've taken our dogs to them for many years.

My husband and I love this place! From the desk staff through assistants and techs to Drs Reuter and Simpson, the attitude of the staff is caring, professional and highly skilled. We trust their judgment and skill to treat our feline babies and are connected well to tertiary care clinics for specialty issues.
