Have had a sick kitten from the get-go . Discussed euthanasia several months ago with one of the vets, who agreed. Kitten did well for about a month until this past weekend. When I called in to discuss what was happening, I was out on hold and then given the recommendation for emergency vet. I explained how I can’t go again (been several times in the last 5 months $$$). Rhey disnt inform me of my pets remains until 2 weeks after he had been returned as well as going over creamtion papaerwork and payments while I was spending the last moments of my cats life. I was not given a ceramic paw print, instead I got a stamped print which I wasnt aware I had an option, considering I was balling my eyes out. Truly disgusted by this place.
This facility could improve by COMPLETELY diagnosing a pet the first time. Instead of being concerned with money, actually care about the pets. Instead, they want you to keep coming back with your suffering baby so they can charge you. I paid 3k for a cat who is still sick. He was in there for at LEAST a week. Why were tests not ran? He came back with tapeworms. But they said he was cured. So I give him tapeworm medicine, and he’s still very sick. But they have no idea what it could be so he needs another admission and exam.... read more
I have been going to Everhart Veterinary Hospital for a long time. Very disappointed with my last visit. My pet was in for a glucose curve. I called them several times to give him his evening dose before picking him up. I was assured they would. However, they did not. I am upset because it is not an antibiotic, IT IS INSULIN. After checking out i had to ask for a bowl and fork so i could feed my dog, in the waiting area, and give him his food and insulin. Which i provided them upon check in. VERY UPSET.
