Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

Our family has used Carson Vets for y;ears. We have always felt that very personal attention was given to our pets and that they received the very best of care and attention. We believe our pets have truly received the best care available from both Dr. Carsons. Sorry one is retiring. We will miss him but young Dr. Carson is an apt and capable replacement. As long as we have pets we will continue to use this veterinarian clinic.

Sorry that I had to cancel last minute, but my outdoor cat spooks in bed weather and was uncatchable for the day. Appreciate that you guys worked with me on doing a walk in.

I came in during COVID and was a little unsure about not going in the visit with my pups. When the techs came to get Bella and Alfie they noticed they were unsure and took their time waiting for them to feel comfortable to get out of the car. Once their visit was over they called me and assured me the vet would com out to talk with me... the team brought my pups back to me and they looked happy! Everything went smooth Saturday with Dr. Jim and his staff when I brought my dog Delilah in for her nail trim they are doing a good job working around the new construction and the Covid restrictions that have been faced with the car wash parking was very convenient as well
