I had been taking my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to Brookside for about 5 years. She was diabetic and in a very tenuous medical situation. We had an established relationship (I thought). When she deteriorated on the weekend of Labor Day, we called them and were told that they couldn't see her because they had "other quality of life cases" to see who had appointments.
