RecommendedSo Briar Patch Veterinary Hospital did something special. When My husband went to pick up Echo’s (my cat) remains (we had him cremated), they gave us a paw print of my little baby’s paw. OMG! We were not expecting it. I can’t say enough nice things about this place! The staff was exceptional! Dr. Vissio is incredible! I have never met a more kind and understanding vet in my life. she truly cares and wants to help you make the best decision for YOU and your pets. I have found my lifelong veterinarian.
Although we do not live there. Dr. Rhinehart was our vet in PA. Shes very caring, loving and gentle. I'd recommend her to everyone.
the folks here are wonderful. caring, compassionate. they tended to Angelica and helped me make a discussion that was difficult but necessary.
Briar patch is one of the best veterinary hospitals in Ithaca and the surrounding area. they are very professinal and work closly with you at every step.I am into a lot of alternative health care and they respect that they also do acupuncture and the owner knows a lot about ALT heath as well. so you all get my thumbs up. the people at the desk are awesome too! susie gutierrez
As a vet student, I am very selective about where I take my cat. I chose briar patch because they are AAHA accredited and a certified cat friendly practice. My feisty kitty was very relaxed at his appointment and the staff and doctors are very thorough. I have recommended this clinic to my peers at Cornell.
My Multipoo needed a tooth pulled and Dr. Rhinehart examined her and said she'd clean her teeth and see how things looked. She sent me a video of what was going to happen which was very helpful and reassuring. Delilah did great. Dr. Rhinehart removed an infected tooth and cleaned her teeth. I can't imagine how painful her little tooth must have been! I'm grateful they discovered it and took such good care of her. Thank you Briarpatch!
