Every one is friendly and personable, and they take great care with making me and my cats feel comfortable every time!
This was my dog’s vet. I will no longer bring her here. I had an appt just to get allergy medicine for her. They completed a bunch of unnecessary treatments and evaluations without speaking to me first and then charged me $250. I called to complain and discuss with the facility afterwards and was told basically that I’m lying and that I had approved everything and the plan was discussed with me. I was waiting till I heard from the last puppy about his vet visit, so I can now post this. My dogs are all on Heartguard for protection against many parasites and uptd on all shots. I just had a liter of 7 puppies in Sept. and 3 of the new owners went to the Albion Vet. The ALBION ANIMAL CENTER told the new owners their puppies had hookworm. The symptoms for hookworm are so terrible, (look it up). Symptoms are sores on skin, not eating, not playing and death. I think I would have noticed these symptoms since they liv... read more
On Friday April 28, 2017 one of our sheltie puppies fell and broke his front left leg. I rushed him to the office and after being X-rayed I was told I had two options: he would need a plate surgically placed, or if that wasn't an option related to expense (approximately $2000) it would need to be amputated. I asked if he could be splinted until it healed and was told "it will not heal", a temporary splint was placed until I made a decision and he was given a dose of pain medication $463.
