We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

There are no words for how wonderful the staff at Advanced Animal Care treated my dog and I tonight. Unfortunately, my dog had to be euthanized;a very difficult decision for my family. The respect, kindness, and sympathy shown was so appreciated.
You guys saved my boys life he has parvo and we all no how sad parvo is and how hard it is to treat. I brought him in at 3am and they were waiting for us to pull in. We discussed a price and they gave him the best of care 3 days later I picked my boy up alive and doing great compared to his drop off. I went to pay the bill and it was less than half what we talked about. Ruford and I love you guys and can't thank u enough. We have also made advanced animal Care his health provider. We Love You Guys.....
My first experience with this vet office was an emergency. I had planned to set up an appointment in Berea for my dog Winnie's yearly check up next week, as a new patient, but she got sick yesterday and scared me to death, so I put her in the car and drove straight there, calling on the way. The Dr in Berea was out to lunch and they were booked solid so they told me to go to Richmond and they would call ahead. Being a first time dog mom, I didn't want to have to bring my dog here after hours just because I'm scary my boy is so sick. But I am so glad I did. They staff here made my boy and I so reassured about everything. I was recommended to go here by a friend. When I read some reviews about the place, it's only a money issue. Before I drove over, the woman told me straight up how much it was going to cost just to come in and the vet to physically look at my pup and that the payment was due time of visit. I was on a trip when my dog sitters found one of my dogs unresponsive and bleeding. Our local vet recommended Advanced Animal Care and my sitters took Oreo to them around midnight. They stabilized her, ran multiple diagnostics and reviewed the results in the morning. We agreed she was not going to recover and that letting her go to the Rainbow Bridge was best for Oreo. The caring and concern AAC had for me, my dog and what was best for her is greatly appreciated! Thanks for all you did for Oreo...and me.
