Washington Heights Veterinary Clinic was founded in 2009 by Dr. Tracy McAdoo and Dr. Lynda Case. Their goal in starting Washington Heights was, first and foremost, to provide the best possible care for their patients. They quickly realized that one of the best ways to care for their patients was to also care for the pet owners.

Best vet ever. Everyone we have seen/worked with has been amazing. They have been very helpful with our 2 senior dogs. They are very fast and thorough. They have gone above and beyond. They are also very reasonably priced (especially compared to other vets in this area. I will always recommend this clinic.
We have been clients of Washington Heights since they opened. We enjoy the quality service, friendly staff, attentive doctors and the care they give our pet. The waiting rooms and exam are nicely appointed. I especially enjoy the coffee service to enjoy during my short wait to see the doctor. Our pet is particular about who she allows to get close to her and we have never once had an issue with our pet balking at the nurses or doctors. We highly recommend this business.
This is a clinic of all female doctors, each bringing to the table unique personalities. I like each Vet for different reasons and feel comfortable letting my 2 dogs under any of their care. I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved dog ( yes I had three) and over the last year of his life the vets, technicians, and front office staff guided me through tough decisions and were there with me at his passing. Knowing how important he was to me, they provided the most caring support for me and my Pet. The clinic is adorable ... read more
Washington Heights Veterinary Clinic is simple the best! Everyone there goes out of their way to help you and it's very clear they all love animals. I would trust my own human children to these Vets, they are extremely knowledgeable, professional and clearly have the experience to handle all situations. I have taken my pets there for around 10 years and have always felt my pets were getting the best care available. I never have any second thoughts when recommending WHVC.
I don't have enough positive words for this clinic. It is the best in the Houston area. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. She answered all of my questions thoroughly. Dr. Hipke is AWESOME! I am relieved that I have found a very professional vet clinic.
Washington Heights is AMAZING! Dr. Hipke is high energy, informative and truly cared for my 8 month old boxer. We had a tough time finding a vet and I am happy to report that they are professional and friendly. The receptionist, vet techs and Dr. Hipke get A+++++ We have found our forever vet!
We have been bringing our dog, a 4 year old rescued italian greyhound to WHVC for over a year. We are moving to Denver and are heartbroken to lose this vet. They treated our dog for heartworms after we found out he had them after we rescued him. They were so kind and compassionate, calling every single time after he had an appointment to follow-up on how he was doing. We've seen Dr. Case and Dr. Hipke multiple times and love them both. The receptionists are so kind and friendly and willing to answer any questions. We were... read more
Love this clinic! My dog sees Dr. McAdoo and loves her, but I've also heard only good things about Dr. Case. Talia is an excellent receptionist, and the vet techs are all wonderful. The whole staff is great! The clinic itself is also very nice, clean, and welcoming. Also, their sign is adorable, and they send really cute personalized ecards on your pet's birthday.
Well, even though the staff isn't the friendliest, I've been pleased with the overall service for the past couple of years. However, the lady today was pretty rude when I asked her why does my dog have to have his yearly exam first before trimming his nails. Grant it, he was due in June. With an attitude she just said it's our policy and hung up. Considering changing vets.
