We’re in town visiting family and our boy has a history of pancreatitis so when his behavior mimicked what we experienced before, we rushed over. Initially, we took him elsewhere but they were booked so were referred here and were so glad. They were extremely communicative, compassionate, and were truly a pleasure. Thank you for taking care of our boy! I hope we don’t have to come back but if f we do, I’ll be glad it’ll be with a staff that cares.

I can not say enough about the experience we had when having to put our 16 year old Sassy down. From the second we walked in they were all so unbelievably kind and compassionate. They let me take as much time as I needed with her before and after. They thought enough to put the IV in while she was in the back getting examined and long tubing on her IV so I could hold her while the vet sat on the floor and injected the medicine. I truly cannot thank Dr. Allison, Savannah & Angie enough. Last night, we had to bring our 14 year old yellow lab in to get his distended bladder drained one last time. My sister and I were so scared and emotional but they took incredible care of him and us. They explained what was going on, shared options and were as quick as they could be to help us. Lucy, our 13 year old Chocolate Lab, was nearing the end of her time. We had been in on a Saturday to see Dr Blake Sutton. The visit was caring, quick, and efficient. I ended up taking her back home to try to make her more comfortable, but we had to come back a few days later. Dr. Abby Whiting and the rest of the staff helped us handle a very difficult situation in the best way possible. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life on Monday to let go of my beloved chihuahua, Wee Wee and there's no way I could have done that without the reassurance and kindness of the people here at VSS. I can't thank them enough for helping me understand my options and the amount of compassion and understanding they had for me given her situation.
