I have been going to Dr. Cote in the UTC area for most of my vet visits. Recently she retired and I thought this was a good opportunity to find another veterinarian that was closer to my location. I have had some terrible experiences with other ones near me and felt a lot of anxiety switching but this location was offering a discount for first time visit so I decided to give it a shot. Yes, Torrey Highlands Pet Health Care IS as good as it gets! I have a senior dog with lots of issues, and Dr Wood and his pet-loving staff treat him like a king! Dr Wood takes all the time he needs with my dog and tries to make sure he's as comfortable as possible before even examining him. I've been to so many vets that rush you in and out of the office; this is not one. Dr. Wood's services are reasonably priced as well.

I don't normally write Yelp reviews but I was inclined to do so after such a great visit today. I can't say enough good things about Torrey Highlands Pet Health Care Center. From the initial phone call to the actual visit, the staff here was so incredibly attentive and caring. They were very thorough during the exam and explained everything to me in detail so I could make the best choice possible. My dog also got a new bandana and some delicious treats during her visit which made her one happy pup!

After 2 visits to another vet, our dog continued to worsen and we didn't know why. Enter THPHCC...I made an appointment out of desperation and this brand new practice welcomed us with opened arms. Our dog received the most thorough exam I have ever witnessed and was immediately diagnosed with a neurological impairment (not a leg injury that required surgery, as we were incorrectly told).
