Literally the best care I have ever received anywhere, be it human or dog. We drive 1.5 hours for care and came to the practice, like most people, with an unexpected pet cancer crisis. Dr. Waite and her staff care deeper than I could ever imagine and they let us focus on loving our pet while they focused on treating the cancer. I can never thank them enough for their knowledge, love and compassion.
I don’t leave many reviews, but everyone deserves to know how phenomenal this place is. It’s so scary to get a cancer diagnosis for your beloved pet, but establishing a great care team really does help provide peace of mind throughout the process. Dr. Waite and all of her staff are incredible. We drive 1.5-2 hrs one way to see them, and it’s well worth the drive. This group is great, friendly, understanding, dedicated, compassionate and caring. They have been taking care of my golden retriever since last year. They got her right in after being diagnosed at 3 yrs old with lymphoma. We have seen Dr. Waite majority of her visits and met a new doctor yesterday, Dr. Kenny who are both awesome. I couldn't ask for a better team to treat her and buy us as much time as possible. They go above and beyond and I'm forever thankful for everything they have done this far!
As both a pet parent and veterinarian, I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Chetney and The Oncology Service. I brought my dog in for a CT scan and to discuss radiation treatment options if necessary after surgery. They have been fantastic with my old girl, who is not great with pain or vet visits. Despite her anxiety, they have managed to make her happy to see the vet tech when she comes in the room, because they have worked hard to gain her trust. I am forever grateful for them, for adding to the last few years I've got with my girl.
