I have nothing but great things to say about Southport veterinary center. They cared for my dog for 11 years, giving him the best care possible. Even when he was a senior dog they constantly charted every lump and bump and made sure he was as healthy as he could be. I can’t thank them enough!
Southport Veterinary was so great with all of my pets (multiple cats and our rescue dog). Dr Hart, Dr Greco, the staff Marilyn and all are top notch. Sensitive, compassionate and the best at what they do!!
My dogs are part of my family, and at Southport Veterinary Center, they treat them the same. I wouldn't think of bringing them elsewhere :) Update 2/7/2026 Dr Greco & her staff are excellent. I've 3 dogs that they care for, the oldest slightly over 14. Her name is Nosey Posey and they treat her like a queen (see picture, LOL). Nosey has hip pain, anxiety, and cries out. Great experience. Handled my terror of a terrior with great ease. Got an estimate before proceeding, that was a wonderful change from prior vets! Everything was carefully explained very completely by Dr Meghan and they took great time with me and explaining meds. Wonderful experience ! Caring doctor and staff! Peanut sends a big THANK YOU!!
You can always rely on SVC for impeccable care for your pet. Five years ago I searched for the most professional veterinary care for my service dog. With each visit I can count on compassion, medical expertise, and a spotless environment. Such a great staff!
