RecommendedOur Maine Coon was pretty sick and our vet couldn’t see him, so we were referred to Solano-Napa Emergency. When we got there it was very busy, but Archibald was seen almost immediately. They needed to do a lot of tests, but told us up front so there were no surprises. Once ok’ed they got to work. Took Charlie, my sweet beagle boy in last night. It was a busy night for the staff and I could tell there were some seriously hurt animals on site. The staff was so kind and all had extremely intelligent people facing skills. At first we were told that despite the pain Charlie was in, he would be okay to take home until it becomes a real emergency, but after I expressed my deep concern and worry they truly listened and he was able to be seen. I took my dog in here for a blockage in his digestive tract and they took good care of him. They gave us a fair estimate, and even refunded $500 when they ended up quoting me too much. What I think people need to realize is that this location is full of hard working staff that want the best for your pets. We have brought multiple cats here off and on over the years, often for what would not be an emergency except for a long wait to get to regular vet. We have never had anything but exceptional care. They tell you in advance what the fees might be. They never pressure you and often it ends up being less than they estimated. They send all the visit materials to the regular vet so on the next regular appointment the vet knows what they did. Took my American Bully in for a dog bite on his ear. It was badly infected. They took real good care of him and even trimmed his nails for me.
Caring providers, wait was long but there were so many animals with such different emergent conditions, I can completely forgive and patiently wait. 100% recommend these guys. Thank you for caring for my Pinta!!
It was a long wait because they were so busy. I wasn’t the only one that had to wait and come back. This was the closest emergency vet to Napa.
