From late night of 1/9/202 to past midnight on 1/10/2020, we were having a miserable night. Our precious old furry friend had a sudden change in her health condition; we saw she was suffering from lots of pain. We knew she needed to get relief from her suffering. I found myself here a few days ago with my dog Frankie who was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease and everyone was absolutely amazing and really cared about us. Frankie is at home resting and will hopefully live a normal life with some lifestyle changes and for that i am extremely grateful.
Working in a medical emergency is a difficult specialty. You wouldn't know it the way the SPEC staff calmly, methodically help their clients. They triage serious from not-so-serious cases immediately. They question you, run tests, call your personal vet if necessary and inform you of a diagnosis quickly for as much information as they need to exchange. They're honest. They're gentle. They're helpful and trusting. They are the best thing about Solano County. For Aggie, Kitzy, Coco and Rasta...thank you for being there.
