I've been taking my 22 year old Pom/ chihuahua here for a couple of months. Upon her initial appointment, Dr.Natt was great about keeping me updated, calling to explain everything in detail, and instructing me on how to care for my Dog moving forward. He prescribed some medicine for enlarged heart and she's been great since. It wasn't until Recently I had to Take Diamond to the emergency vet due to her being very lethargic and vomiting. I can't say enough about Pam and Dr Natt. I brought my dog Finn in today and when I got there the parking lot was full. I mean full. I watched Pam go in and out so many times I lost count. Carrying in cat carriers, walking dogs in on their leashes, stopping to reassure worried pet parents. Never once did she rush anyone or make them feel she didn't have time for them. This place is great. Totally recommend them. The staff - They are super pleasant and go above and beyond to help. I went in for a health certificate to fly out of the country. Even though they didn't know the process for the country I was flying to, they helped me find the information, they provided all the tests needed and the documentation and followed up every step of the way. MPL surgery for 5 year old small dog - Successful but align your expectations before visiting. My small dog had suffered from a median luxating patella that required surgery to fix. (Her knee cap would pop out of place and not pop back in causing her pain, aggression, and limping) Most offices wouldn't even give me a range of what to expect for pricing until after i spent $100 consultation and $1000 for xrays. Our dog Vino broke her leg while playing with a bigger dog in the middle of the night, so we rushed her to the nearest hospital, Sage. They didn't have a doctor in for the night, so Vino needed to stay overnight and wait for the doctor to take a look in the morning. When the morning came, the doctor told us that Vino needed an operation and this needed to happen within 72 hours, and it would cost around for the surgery 10k and another 10k to remove the pins afterward. We took our puppy in because he was sick and our normal vet did not have openings at the time. This was our first visit and very much less than ideal. 1. They cornered us to bring him in when we were just checking for availability, because of their tone, we brought him in, and reluctantly had to leave him at the door, less than ideal for puppy, they gave him a noose-like choke collar put on, which I'm sure is fine for older dogs, but not for overactive puppies scared in a vet office, (and we could not be with him). We adopted our puppy, Piper, earlier this year and we found Serra vet through Yelp. They were local so we decided to sign Piper up for her puppy package. Their Covid protocols are excellent -- a tech will come out and give you paperwork to fill out in the comfort of your own car. Once you've completed the paperwork, they'll take your pet in to meet with Dr. Natt. We want to thank Dr. Natt and his staff profusely for their patience and care of our German shepherd! An orthopedic surgeon told us that she not only had severe osteoarthritis in her hips but that the first step was to correct her CCL. We were not convinced and went to Serra veterinary Hospital for a second opinion. Dr. Natt found that she did not need that surgery and that her knee had a normal range of motion.
