Pleasant Ridge Pet Hospital lost a customer today. They've implemented this new policy where you are charged a ridiculous fee if you're not there to pick up your pet whenever they're ready with your pet. Doesn't matter how long they take, you better be there when they call! I was there to drop off my dog at my appointment time, but it took almost 15 minutes before anyone came out to get her, then had to wait another 30 for the vet to check my dog out. Love the doctors here but the front desk gets a lot of things mixed up and I've had to make trips back here to correct. Check your meds before you leave and any rebate coupons to make sure they are current. Care is excellent- wish they would work on the details!

I feel there is an inconsistency in service and therefore I haven't yet felt convinced in a genuine caring about my pet's well-being. Communication is uneven, internal organization seems questionable, and I don't feel that care is being coordinated among the various vets and techs. It feels like the luck of the draw sometimes. Considering looking elsewhere.

Brought my dog in as a new patient to Pleasant Ridge. They got us in for an appointment within a day of requesting. The day of the visiting the Vet and Vet techs were awesome. Very caring and listened to what I said about my dog. Am very comfortable with bring my pets here.

These incompetent clowns almost killed my cat. He had a blockage, and after leaving him a cage all weekend, and telling me he was doing fine, I picked him up on Monday only to find him crying in pain and vomiting stool. I rushed him to my normal Vet for emergency surgery and he survived, but this place is awful and if you love your pet you'll go elsewhere.

I just moved to the area and I'm looking for a new vet. My dogs are due for their yearly appt including vaccines. When I called and made the appt, the person I spoke to on the phone was very nice. However, I had to call to reschedule the appt and have decided not to take my pets here. I called 3 times and was still unable to actually cancel or reschedule the appt. Yesterdat was the first time that I took my dog, Maggie to this vet. She had been having hives and I wanted to get her looked at ASAP. Sandra F had recommended this place to me and I am glad she did. I was able to get a same day appointment, which was awesome. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. The vet (I can't remember her name) was very nice and was able to get my dog feeling a lot better. The prices are also great, and cheaper then where I was previously taking my dog. I will definitely be back!

I started coming here when after a prolonged trip, I came home to find my cat looking very rough. Having just moved here, I had no vet, but my pet sitter recommended Pleasant Ridge and they were able to take me immediately on an after hours visit. Lucky me! Dr. Jaax is amazing.
