I highly recommend this place! They got my dog in for an emergency visit immediately after I called. They provided the cost of the emergency visit and labs upfront, as well as an estimate for the entire visit, and everything stayed within that estimate. I contacted several other vets in the area, but they were all more expensive for emergency care and couldn’t give me a clear idea of what stitches and sedation would cost. Needed my kitty seen for sneezing. Same symptoms last year, thought it would run its course but he ended up with a nasty sinus infection so didn't want to wait. P His regular vet had no openings for 4 days. Was able to get a same day appointment at Mountainside. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, Dr was thorough did a full exam explained treatment. He is due for rabies vaccine but Dr put it off until next week for his comfort. Then it's vaccine only with no extra charges. Techs are well trained and handle patient... read more

I can’t say enough good things about Mountainside! Everyone has taken amazing care of both our Rottweilers. This has included test results with an explanation emailed on a weekend, same day appointments and a few emergency drop offs. Our current girl loves going there and loves all the employees. I recommend Mountainside to everyone that asks! ❤️

Wonderful vet that I trust with my fur babies wholeheartedly. They will work with your schedule and get you in quick (enough) or work with last minute changes, they are clear and communitive especially over email which I appreciate with our busy lives and when my fur baby did pass we got a hand written letter from the office signed by a dozen people. Ive never had a office go through that much effort for a patient. You guys rock!

I had recently moved nearby and hadn’t found a new vet yet. My almost 18 year old Bandit was showing signs that it was time. She ended up passing in my arms at home the night before the appointment. Mountainside got me in quickly the next morning and set up aftercare and was treated with care and compassion. I received her ashes quickly, along with a number of quality prints, as well as a separate mailed card (with more prints) signed with caring notes from staff.
