I can't say enough good things about Dr. Scott at Millard West Veterinary Clinic. I had come to him for help with my dogs GI issues, after a bad experience at another clinic, and was so relieved at his thorough exam and open-mindedness. He walked into the room and immediately greeted myself and my dog, and kept referring to her as kiddo, which absolutely melted my heart. I brought my brand new 11 week old kitten here for her very first check up! The front staff was super helpful and even loved on my kitten!! The doctor was EXTREMELY helpful and was very open to not only answering but going into detail about any and all questions I had! Now I have a happy and healthy brand new kitty!!

What a blessing this clinic is!! My uncle recommended here when our dog injured his leg. They got him in the same day. Compassionate care for a great price!!! They even did laser therapy on him to reduce the swelling. The Vet was very knowledgable and let us review the xrays with him. Thank you Matt Wright!!! (And did I mention they are open til 7?)

I really like Dr. Scott and the way he handles my dog. However, I did have an issue with them providing services that I didn't request Dr. Scott resolve the issue and I'll be going back.

My puppy was having bad diarrhea and I was worried so I called Millard West Vet Clinic and was able to make an appointment for that same day. Dr. Matt was very helpful, you could really tell he cares about animals. He told me to give him a call on Monday with an update on my puppy's health and he's really the only reason I gave any stars at all. He did give me troubling news that since my pup's testicles had not dropped yet, it could be a sign of cancer. This obviously worried me and stuck in my mind. After all was said and... read more

We had called in on a Saturday during business hours to get our cancer dogs prescription refilled. They forgot to phone it in with no way of getting ahold of anyone. We phoned the emergency vet clinic they refer pets to after hours who told us we would have to bring our dog in to get his prescription refilled. As you can imagine asking someone on a budget to take their dog into an emergency vet clinic to get a $10 prescription refilled is unfortunately not an option. This vet clinic provided an ineffective treatment for my cat, treating him for a urinary tract infection when he had kidney failure and needed aggressive fluid therapy. In fact, the prescribed meds only accelerated the issue and instead of examining him again, I was informed of different ways to make is food appetizing in an effort to get him to eat.
