Our dog collapsed suddenly while at a 5K downtown Chicago with Congestive Heart Failure. The veterinarian at the event recommended us to Metropolitan vet as the best and closest option since our dog needed attention right away(she was actually a veterinarian at another practice). The vet at the event had called ahead and the Metropolitan team was ready to assist our dog when we arrived. I brought my dog in for her first checkup since I rescued her. Dr. Jacobs and her staff were great. My dog was pretty spooked of all the sounds and smells but they were great at helping her stay as calm as possible. They were also really fast with the blood draw, vaccines, and even nail trimming so all the "scary" stuff got done quickly. Got some great tips for continued health too (clean teeth chews, fish oil...). I'd definitely recommend them.

A few weeks ago, I found my cat's canine tooth on my carpet. How horrible and in pain she must have been in. i recently rescued her from animal control and, it's really tough to obtain medical history or really ANY information regarding your new pet, from Animal control. (SIDE NOTE- THOUGH, I still recommend rescuing from them because they have to euthanize so many animlas, there.) I have taken my dog to Metropolitan several times and found the staff and doctors to be very caring and professional. This isn't our regular vet but, unfortunately, there were times we needed a vet when our regular vet was closed. Each time Metro did their best to accommodate us even though we didn't have an appointment. I highly recommend Metro Vet.

Came here for the first time since getting my cat for an annual check-up and rabies vaccine. Dr. Saviori and his staff were welcoming, kind and helpful during the entire process and were very gentle with my pet. The doctors and staff were incredibly professional during the visit, and everything moved smoothly and efficiently. It was easy to find a time that worked for me to book an appointment, and the office offers a free parking lot to customers. Metro Vet is the best veterinary center I have taken my kitties to! Dr. Jacobs saved my cat Chana's life after he ate a very long piece of string. She has also helped my elderly cat Olive with an infection. The staff is kind and helpful. I live in Bucktown and it is absolutely worth the drive/cab ride. I highly recommend Metropolitan Veterinary Center!

I was treated very well and my pet was treated like she really mattered. Dr. Carlo saviori was very professional and he treated my dog with respect and dignity. He was very generous with me and easy to talk to. I am thankful for his generosity and sweet spirit. Thank you Dr. Carlo!

I LOVE metropolitan vet!! Especially dr. Jacobs! She is da bomb! But everyone is nice and extremely knowledgeable. I can count on them to never over medicate Bernie, my one year old Berner. Also Bernie really likes going there - I know some dogs steer clear of vets but Bernie goes right in! Everyone there loves him and I can count on them to take care of Bernie the best possible way. I would highly recommend them!
