I was afraid to schedule a fatty tumor removal for my dog because of his age. Dr. Weiss assured me that they would perform tests and make sure he would be able to handle it first. I have to say, I was a little panicked the day of surgery, but she did an excellent procedure and he is doing FANTASTIC !!! The stitches are perfect. We took our pup to Maple City today after a terrible experience at another local vet I will not name. I don't know if they just didn't care enough to do the tests they said they would but when I made my appt at MCAH the staff were the most knowledgeable, friendly, KIND, and helpful people I have ever talked to on the phone! Thanks to Dr. Weiss our guy is on his way to being healthy again!!! She personally called and discussed treatment and follow up with me to make sure I understood what steps needed taken and when. I have used maple city for years. The prices are reasonable, the people are friendly and they keep our pets healthy. When I lost my Sadie in a house fire and brought her in for cremation and broke down everyone was supportive and caring. I even received a personalized sympathy card in the mail that all the girls signed. They help us with every need with our Australian shepherd litters and are very easy to make appointments with. We strongly recommend this animal hospital for your pets wellness needs.
I had a poisoning emergency with my pup and called New Buffalo Animal Hospital, where he has been a patient since we got him, the receptionist told me ALL their vets were at their 2 hour lunch and I better get him to vet immediately. so I now not only have a time sensitive emergency, I have to find a place to take him. Maple City saw him immediately and showed care and compassion for both of us. needless to say, I'm switching vets!
I took my cat in here to get a sore that wasn’t healing on her leg fixed and they got me in within days and there was little to no wait. They prescribed my cat the right meds and it healed her up! They also send out emails and alerts to remind you when your pets shots and checkups are which is VERY convenient! The staff is very nice and look out for the safety and health if it’s pets!
