La Cumbre Animal Hospital - also fondly referred to as LCAH - was founded by Dr. Francis Knoop in 1959. Dr. Knoop was visiting the Durbiano Dairy farm located where La Cumbre Plaza stands now when he noticed a triangular piece of land at the intersection of La Cumbre Road and La Cumbre Lane. At the time, Five Points Shopping Center was just being designed and built. Dr. Knoop thought it was a good place for his veterinary hospital.

RecommendedAbsolutely love the staff of La Cumbre Animal Hospital. They are wonderful and take amazing care with my two cats! Which is not always easy as they think they are wild tigers sometimes! Keep on being the best and making it look so easy.

Brought my 11 year old Lab from death's door to healthy and active again!! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, quick response answering questions and providing refills of the old boy's prescriptions! Can't thank them all enough for their great care!!
