Doctor Cara is the best vet we have ever met. She truly cares about the health of our dog, and her knowledge and expertise is so appreciated by us. It is very rare to meet such a wonderful and dedicated woman who cares so much for all of her animal patients and has such a brilliant mind and a generous nature. We will be forever grateful to her and feel very lucky to have her care for our furbaby. I wouldnt consider going elsewhere.
We had a really fantastic experience seeing Gympie Veterinary Services for the first time a few days ago. Our hen, Wila, was unwell and most vets will not see chickens but we were so lucky to get an appointment with Dr Caitlin who was absolutely wonderful and with her advice, Wila, was brand new very quickly. The reception staff are also super kind and got us in for an appointment within hours on a Saturday. It's a great relief to know we have a local vet who can see our flock members when needed. Many thanks to GVS.
I am highly dissatisfied with my experience. I used to love coming here they were so compassionate when we had to have our 15 year old foxy put to sleep. At first they were very friendly. But lately we had our 2 dogs vaccinated and were made to wait 40 minutes. The vet injured my dog after the vaccination, she had blood pouring out her back after she'd vaccinated my dog. My very first visit but what turned out to be a very sad visit for my beautiful 11 yo dog, was met with so much kindness and empathy.
We brought in our pup Raffa in a bad way after finding ticks in his coat. These guys were professional, excellent communicators with great follow up and practical advice for moving forward. Whilst we found them under less than favourable circumstances, we will be back for routine check ups.
