Dr. Garcia and his team of surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists and staff took AMAZING care of my little girl, Layla. Layla presented with a rare oral, dental, mandibular condition- a combination of severe tooth reabsorption and complex tissue and nerve overgrowth in her mouth. We’ve been clients at Green Dog since it was solely just a mobile pet truck run by Dr. Garcia , and the way they’ve expanded over the past decade alone has been remarkable. The new full service facility on Aetna street is nothing short of incredible - it’s beautiful and spacious, and staffed with the best people around. My cat has stomatitis which is costly to be treated. Both cat and human are stressed out. Yesterday we went to Van Nuys office to have radiograph. Dropped the cat at 8:45am, discussed the treatment with the vet via phone, agreed to the treatment plan within my budget, picked up my cat with 22 teeth less. Expert staff, reasonably priced—I love this place. My 2 yo miniature dachshund had a slab fracture to her fourth pre-molar, caused by Benebone, a brand of Nylabone, which her dental surgeon was candid enough to admit "keeps them in business." This kind of fracture, if the pulp is exposed, can be excruciating for the pet, and the fourth pre-molar is not the easiest tooth to remove. I was so thankful they fit me in right away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GreenDog!! This is the second time bringing my pups to GreenDog for dental care. Last year they both had to have extractions and the Vets and staff provided phenomenal care to both of my pups and their mom, too. This year was a routine dental exam with anesthesia-free teeth cleaning. And again, we received EXCELLENT, compassionate care. The Doctors and the staff are fabulous!! Don't hesitate to bring your fur babies here!
