I have brought my dogs and cat to Duxbury animal hospital for years. Their prices are ridiculously expensive in order to pay for the renovations to the animal hospital. I continued to go there thinking that it would be worth it if my pet had an emergency. Well, my dog did have an emergency during regular hours. I called and asked to bring him in. I have taken my golden retriever there for almost 2 yrs and have never not shown up for an appt. Yesterday I called the office saying my dog seems to be struggling to pee. I went to the office to pick up a urine test kit to get a first mornings sample the next day. This am I did exactly that and brought it into the office. I asked if it was positive if they would lmk asap and prescribe an antibiotic as it is Friday and they are closed on weekends. I would just like to say how extremely disappointed I am in Duxbury Animal Hospital. I WAS a client for more than two years. Two and a half years ago I brought my eight-week-old German Shepherd puppy, Magnum, to them for his care. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hind legs as well as a torn ACL in his front leg at that young age. He also needed his dew claws removed.
