Today was my first consultation appointment w Dr Pugliese for my greyhound who needed spleen surgery. Greyhounds are unique dogs with unusual labs and personalities. It has been extremely hard to find someone that I trust w my grey. I have had 27 years experience in veterinary practice so I am very picky who I trust w my dog. Very busy clinic with caring people. Our dog had to see the neurologist.
This little girl is a true fighter! Near death with heart failure, undetected low blood oxygen levels and fluid in her lungs Wednesday. It’s been an emotional day and a half! She’s on the upswing and we may be able to bring her home sometime today! The doctors and nurses at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital have been wonderful with treating her, thoroughly answering a bazillion questions, and allowing pop-in visits. Our cat was referred here from AM/PM for to a possible murmur, which is true. But they found a blockage in his smaller intestine so they performed life saving surgery on him. I've only met one Dr but all of them have been very nice, caring and professional, excluding 1 phone person. Our cat is doing amazing and we're grateful to Dr Khorzak, Dr Johnson and Dr Knox. Not our normal vet but I do recommend them for emergencies.
Incredibly caring and knowledgeable staff! They took excellent care of our sweet Lulu. Dr. Bartels and Dr. Zacher are amazing - along with the rest of the staff! Thank you so much for doing everything you could to save our girl.
